Year of Embarrassment.

In The year 2006 E.C (2014/15) the ethnocentric dictatorial Ethiopian ruling party (TPLF) had crippled Ethiopia economically, socially and politically. The failures of TPLF leaders put the country in the 2nd stage next to Niger in the list of the poorest country in the world. Moreover the stone-heart  Woyane killed and buried the press in Ethiopia. This cruel party has shamefully crippled any opposition parties who dared to criticize it. The Ethiopians are deliberately made to live a life that they cannot afford by the current savage governing party. Only the corrupted TPLF officials continue to live abundantly by accumulating huge amount of in different banks in and offshores for their personal interest. On the other hand the citizens are immersing into deep poverty that they find it even very difficult to get daily bread. Thanks for these greedy TPLF officials and leaders, the people of Ethiopian is termed as the 2nd poorest nation in the whole while world. The hunting of the press by the TPLF butchers was another embarrassing actions in the year 2006 E.C (2014/15). The TPLF regime has this allergy towards free press and media. On April, 2014 in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia, three freelance journalists and six website blogger had been thrown into jail by the current Ethiopian government. Several magazine and newspaper publishers, owners and journalists were falsely accused and faced trial by the TPLF officials who do not want to be criticized by any means. For example Addis Gudaye, Lomi and Fact Magazine publishers and owners were the victims of the government allergy towards free press. In addition the owners and publishers of Afro times, Jano and Enku magazines were made to stand in front of a court accused by the government. Several journalists fled the country fearing the penalty. All these press and media were termed terrorist by the government only because they serve as a bridge to fill the huge information gap. Press and media play an enormous role in bringing healthy and important social values. How is it possible for the Ethiopian government to accuse these media while it controls, censors and owns all the media in Ethiopia. The truth behind chasing and hunting these free media was to cover the horrible, corrupted, dictatorial, cruel ruling system of the TPLF regime. The different opposition parties in Ethiopia were also the victims of Woyane’s brutal hunt. In order to wipe out any party or group that could be a possible threat on the survival of TPLF leaders, the government implemented the plan of intimidating and imprisoning members, supporters and officials of these opposition parties. Members, supporters and officials of two major opposition parties UDJ and Blue, were made to taste the smell of prison in the pretext of Terrorism. Since these parties are gaining a huge public support and can change the political horizon in the next year general election, the current dictatorial regime keeps harassing and arresting the members and supporters. The extradition of Ato Andargachew Tsege by Yemen government clearly shows the world how the Ethiopian current government TPLF determined to punish anyone who opposes it.  The TPLF leaders expected that the arrest of Ato Andargachew Tsege would frustrate the Ethiopian people and bring division among Ethiopians. On contrary the unlawful extradition and arrest of the freedom fighter and equality advocate Ato Andargachew Tsege made the Ethiopians to join hands and form unity. TPLF has never expected the Ethiopians would unite both in and abroad to end its rule once and for all. In general the year 2006 could be termed easily a devastating period for TPLF. The party has humiliated itself in and outside the country. The incompetent Woyane leaders exposed their cruel, undemocratic and dictatorial rule to the world. They become the witness for their own crimes and failures. They openly waged a war against free press, journalists and opposition leaders. They recklessly drove the people into poverty till the world ranks us the 2nd poorest nation. If there is any grade to be given for their performance, then it will be a big F.
