Dear Patriotic Ginbot 7 Movement for Unity and Democracy
As a deprived Ethiopian and a member of Patriotic Ginbot 7, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for making such a responsible call for Ethiopian Defense Force Members. I personally believe this is a historical call because this is the period when the TPLF butchers are getting wild. These 25 years dictators and bloodsuckers are facing huge opposition both in and outside Ethiopia. The cannibalistic behavior of these Woyane leaders is being reflected more intensely now than before. Since they will do anything and everything to keep themselves in power, it is a very responsible and crucial decision by the Patriotic Ginbot 7 to call for Ethiopian Defense Force no longer to be abused by these cruel and corrupted TPLF’s finger counted leaders and cadres.An armed struggle is not the only method that Patriotic Ginbot 7 applying to get rid of these parasites (Woyane). Pressuring Haile Mariam’s regime in Ethiopia by mobilizing the people for civil disobedience is also another method of struggle. In fact, these civil-disobediences have been recently seen in Oromia, Amhara, Konso and other parts of Ethiopia. In addition, the recent Patriotic Ginbot 7 military mission inside Ethiopia (in south Ethiopia, Arba Mench) has shocked and frustrated TPLF but gave hope and confidence to the deprived Ethiopian people. The pressure from the diaspora Ethiopians against these savage TPLF’s leaders is also another weapon of struggle in disposing of the 25 years long dictatorial rule in Ethiopia. One of the factors for the fall of Apartheid in South Africa was the strong voice and oppositions of the international community all around the world. The Ethiopians who live abroad (in USA, Europe, Asia or even in other Africa countries) can and should expose the killing, biting, imprisonment and all the crimes against humanity committed by the handful but powerful dictatorial current Ethiopian leaders to the world. I consider this method is essential because it draws the attention of the international community. Our armed struggle against the current dictatorial regime of Ethiopia would be supported if we are able to make the international community stand with us to bring peace, democracy and justice in Ethiopia. All the genocides and crime against humanity committed during the past 25 years (still go on) by the Woyane regime should be exposed to the international community. By doing so, TPLF would be pressured not only by the citizens of Ethiopia but also by the international community. The call by Patriotic Ginbot 7 to the Ethiopian Defense Force will enable the Ethiopian military squads to stand and think carefully for whom that they are about to sacrifice their dear lives. Is it for the 90 million Ethiopians, who are under severe dictatorial rule and poverty for more than 25 years or for handful corrupted and undemocratic TPLF’s leaders? If the Ethiopian Defense Force stands with the people but against Haile Mariam’s dictatorial rule, then there is no need to have an armed struggle. We need simply to drive Woyane’s leaders out and replace them with a democratically elected party. The Ethiopian Defense Force must disobey the TPLF’s juntas and bring 90 million Ethiopians out of misery, dictatorship, imprisonment, migration and poverty by playing its key role in the process of democratizing our country and improving the life standards of our people. Our hearts and prayers are always with Ato Andargachew Tsige and with all comrades of Patriotic Ginbot 7, who are sacrificing their dear lives fighting against Woyane. Victory is on our side.
